I'd rather some of the people I chat with NOT know my real name until I decide it is safe to do so. I am in a business that I will get a lot of IM's and would rather be known as my handle so my privacy can be protected and people don't show up at my home wanting information
I just downloaded my messenger..it is using my given name rather than handle..how do I change that?
it'd be a lot better if u said which messenger program u were using
if it is in aim, then you can remove your information from the directory [go under edit profile and take your information out]
im not too sure about any other messenger program however
