Discuss it with him. I suspect that he will at least want to be able to say %26quot;formerly xxxx%26quot;.
If I were hime I would also want you to write a letter to your existing customers telling them about the change in ownership and assuring them that the good service low prices, etc would continue.
You should also be prepared to sign a non-compete agreement barring you from competing in your trading area for the next five years.
