i changed my computer name cuz previously it was in my mum's name.So my computer name changed..:):):)however the name in the C:\Users did not change.:(:(:(:(..i cant rename the folder too cuz i cant click the rename choice...its remains the same with my mum's name....wat can i do...im having laptop with windows vista business..

The Easiest option is to create another user account with your preferred name, and transfer the files from the old user account. You can then delete the old one. :)

Go to %26quot;User Accounts%26quot; and simply Rename.
That folder name is always the name of the currently logged-in user (the others are there all the time, but they're not yours). Make an account under your name and you'll have a folder with your name.
