I have a white pair of pants that I really like, from an apparently non-existant company (or very hard to track down at the least). Anyways, they're 100% Nylon, and have a very cold/plastic-like feel to them. The tag says made in Indonesia, and the company tag says Sindrom Bio Designs (with a straight bar accent of the 'o' in Sindrom, unfortunately not a ascii character). Other, smaller, tags simply say %26quot;SND%26quot; underlined.
Anyone know anything about this company? A website, an address, an e-mail address? Has this company changed their name? Gone out of business?
How can I contact Sindrom Bio Designs, a clothing company?
I would go to the place where you purchased the pants, and contact the manager with your questions. Im sure they would be more than willing to help a curious customer. Good luck!

How do big business track monitor assets?
The company I'm working for is attempting to create an inventory tracking system for all the computers in our offices. We track the Computer and the Monitor by an Asset tag we created and a Serial Number provided on the computer. Then we change the computers names to be that of their asset tags so we can better track them.
But how can we digitally track monitors? They have no unique digital identifier.
How do big business track monitor assets?
you could use the serial number of the monitor.
my BF is in IT, and that's what he said he does.
How do big business track monitor assets?
Interesting accounting problem. I do small business accounting (all straight-line and easy), but have never done the same for a large firm.
The question boils down to - how do you track all computer peripherals? I'm sure you don't assign unique numbers to all mice or all keyboards, but what about printers?
A suggestion that pops to mind would be to treat the major peripherals as %26quot;A%26quot;s and %26quot;B%26quot;s to their respective original computers. That is, if a computer is #12345, its original monitor would always be #12345a whereever it ended up, and so on. Shared printers could always be %26quot;A%26quot;s to the lowest sharing computer number. New monitors could be %26quot;B%26quot;s to specific computers.
That's about the best I can think of. Removable drives, new towers, and high-priced software are similar accounting/tracking problems. Good luck.
You can get one of those little hand held machines and start your own numbering system. Etch the numbers to the monitors or whatever else.

I work as at a CPA firm. Do you think it would be okay to start my own bookkeeping business on the side?
I have always wanted to have my own business. I came to work as a staff accountant for a CPA firm about 9 months ago and I like my job, but I would really like to have my own bookkeeping business where I can work the hours I want to and not be limited on how much I make.
My problem is I don't want to make my employers mad. I'm afraid that they may not agree with me going out on my own and doing bookwork on the side.
Before I took this job I was thinking about starting a bookkeeping service. My sister-in-law and I were going to do medical billing and bookkeeping. I even ran an ad in the phone book, which by the way I just recently changed the name to %26quot;My last name%26quot; Bookkeeping Service.
I have my own home office in a seperate building here at my home and I have been doing the books for my husbands business for over 6 years now.
I don't want to be sneaky and I don't want this to interfer with my job, but I would love to do this on the side and someday leave my job.

I would just talk to your boss and get a feel for what he/she would think. Just tell them it's something you were considering and see what he/she thinks.

Talk to your boss and be honest, besides that there might not be much more you can do. I work in private accounting and there are several people who have side businesses. However, in your situation, your boss might be worried about you going after clients.

How do i use graphics design on my computer?
some one have made a card for me n now i want to change the name of the company on the card(business card). i scan it to the computer to change the name, how do i go about doing that?
How do i use graphics design on my computer?
First-of-all i assume you are not going against law.
Well, you can try many DTP software available in market. Say Adobe Photo paint, Adobe Corel draw or you can try with MS-Paint also.
Alternatively, you can try online softwares like picassa.
Hope this helps
How do i use graphics design on my computer?
Well the card was made in some program. So when you scan it in it is just a picture on your computer rather than the original file that you can edit in the program that it was created in. If you have photoshop or adobe illustrator you could fake it out by erasing it or painting over it but the quality would probably suffer. I would try to track down who made the card to change it or just start from scratch and make a new one.

I always see on youtube on Megadeth songs people will change the song name to include pancakes in it. Ex. Pancakes are my business.. and business is good!, Prince of Pancakes, etc.
